Peach cake recipe

Συνταγή κέηκ ροδάκινο

Ingredients for 6/8 serves:
170 g butter
4 eggs
150 g sugar
300 g flour
50 ml orange juice
1 orange
30 g crushed almond biscuits
200 g drained peaches in syrup
3 teaspoonfuls of yeast
3 pinches of salt

Method:
Beat the butter and sugar until stiff and white. Flavor with the orange juice and grated peel of the orange. Then incorporate one egg at a time, beating the mixture all the time. Sieve the flour, yeast, and salt over the mixture and mix thoroughly. Pour the mixture into the mold (greased and sprinkled with flour beforehand). Smooth the surface and then arrange the drained diced peaches and crushed biscuits on top. Place in a preheated oven at 175°C for 50 minutes. When ready, remove the cake from the oven and place it on a rack to cool.
