Step 1: Disconnect the appliance and let it cool down.
Start by turning off the TV and unplugging it. This way you are safe and you can better observe dust and dirt. At the same time, you give your device a chance to cool down.
Step 2. Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth and gently wipe the screen.
Continue with a soft microfiber cloth and clean the screen in a circular motion to remove dust and debris. If there are stains that are difficult to remove, lightly wet the cloth with water and a small amount of soap. Then wipe the spot with a dry cloth.
CAUTION
- Never use paper towels or tissues to clean your TV screen as they contain scratch-resistant fibers. Cleaning the screen is a delicate process, as its panel is covered with a special anti-glare coating, which is very sensitive.
- Do not use window cleaner, or any of the other common cleaners, and do not spray water directly on the screen.
The best solution is to buy products specifically for the care of the panel, such as a microfiber cloth and a special cleaner.
Your moves while cleaning need to be a polite as these products. Thus, you should press the cloth gently on it, since if you apply force, the result may cause burned pixels.
Step 3. Do not forget to clean the cable.
The last step is to clean the power cord with a cloth slightly dampened with water. The dust that collects on the cables is always tedious. Once this is done and you are sure it is dry, you can plug the TV in again.

Use a small amount of white vinegar and mix it in a bowl or spray bottle with water. Spray a small amount ONLY on the cloth and wipe the screen!
