According to the Mayo Clinic, 62% of people prefer paper towels, with the rest preferring towel rollers or hand dryers. Why is that? Originally, because they are fast and efficient to use. Secondly, because electric hand dryers are loud and need more time, which brings some people to skipping drying their hands, and this is a very unhygienic habit.
